Hey guys. First time poster(I'm not a troll....I promise).
Anyway, I live in Houston and I'm trying to start getting into some Brazilian jiu-jitsu classes and there are two schools on the same exact street that both seem like really good options.
One is a Gracie Barra academy and the head trainer is Ulpiano Malachias who I met tonight.
The other is a Rilion Gracie academy.
I checked them both out today, and I think they both have distinct advantages and disadvantages.
The Gracie Barra school is....a Gracie Barra school. They have schools all over the country I would be able to train at any of them for free while I'm traveling. It is also cheaper in the long run
The Rilion Gracie academy's advantages are that I'd be directly learning from an actual GRACIE. Also the facility is a little bit nicer, although that doesn't really count for much IMO.
Anyway, I was just wondering what you guys thought
