Does anyone have any experience with Kre-Alkalyn?

I was talking to my friend last night and he started taking Kre-Alkalyn as a supplement to his workout. He used to use creatine but he said this is much better and he's started to see results already. I'm not sure how long he's been taking it.

Has anyone here ever used it? How well does it work? What are the benefits from using a supplement like this? I'm just trying to get as much info about it before I decide to add a supplement to my routine. Thanks guys.

It's basically buffered creatine. Creatine eventually turns into the creatinine waste byproduct at lower pH values. Since this happens, you have to take a lot of creatine to get your effective dose (and some will get bloating and stomach aches). Kre-Alkalyn buffers it to a higher pH so that you don't get the rapid conversion to creatinine, and you take smaller amount (which leads to less bloating and less stomach aches). I never get any side effects from creatine though, and take it in powder form, so it's fine. But for those who get the side effects or want pill form, Kre-Alkalyn ain't too bad.

I should probably switch to it, actually....creatine turns to the waste which is processed by the kidneys (one reason you need to do a loading phase), so it's probably harder on your body. This form adds the buffer which allows more absorption by your muscles before it turns to waste, which is probably easier on the bod.

Any form of creatine rocks. I'd add it to your supplements.
