Aldo, still not P4P the best fighter in the world

eyedea402010-05-17 13:52:06 +0000 #1
After seeing Aldo dismantles Faber this weekend, I had to ask my self “Is Aldo P4P the best in the world?” As impressive as he is, who has he beaten besides Brown and Faber?

This is the way I see it, Faber has been on top of a weak 145 division for the last few years until recently, Aldo, Brown, Gamborian all good fighters at light weight, BUT would Aldo be able to beat a fighter like Frankie Edgar who would be capable of dropping to 145 and still be dominate. I am not taking anything way from Aldo, and I don’t think he’s not getting rid of the belt anytime soon.

When I break it down who’s the best P4P it’s too close, I can only think of 1 fighter in the world that can still beat anyone if he moves up or even down would be Anderson Silva, so I have to say he’s still #1 in the world with Fedor #2.

I am not obsessed, yea, it is a debate. I do see alot of people saying Aldo is the best, I am just simply putting it in perspective, Anderson can move up or move down in weight class and still dominate, that’s P4P the best in my book. Now Aldo wants to do the same, I would love to see it, I think he can.
