Keith Jardine vs Matt Hamill to headline TUF 11 Finale

****ty finale imo

Former TUF participants Keith Jardine (season two) and Matt Hamill (season three) have agreed to clash at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 11 Finale on June 19 from The Pearl at the Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, live on Spike TV.

The contest was officially announced today by Spike TV and the UFC.

"The Dean of Mean" was last seen in action against Ryan Bader at UFC 110 where he was viciously finished in the final frame of the bout. Jardine has lost three straight inside the Octagon and four of his last five fights to run his record to 15-7-1.

Although those four losses came to formidable opponents the likes of the aforementioned Bader as well as "Rampage" Jackson, Wanderlei Silva, and Thiago Silva; a loss here could very well mark the end of his time with the UFC.

Hamill (8-2) is coming off a controversial win over fast-rising phenom Jon Jones at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 10 Finale last December where Hamill was graciously awarded a victory once Jones was disqualified due to illegal elbow strikes.

Prior to that bout, Hamill had won two fights in a row against Reese Andy at UFC 92 and against Mark Munoz at UFC 96, both ending early via strikes.

The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale is also expected to feature main card match ups between Chris Leben and Aaron Simpson as well as Spencer Fisher and Dennis Siver.

Fisher/Siver should be a great fight.

I like this fight, it'll be a good test for Hammill's newfound striking if he can deal with Jardines awkward style

Yah, Can't help but think that the UFC wants Hamill to take this so they can try and get him into the title contention mix.

There should be plenty of action in all three of those fights.
