Chuck: Tito "never planned on fighting me"

E51502010-05-30 07:24:12 +0000 #1
From Chucks twitter:

twitter.com/ChuckLiddell

U r a moron he never planned on fighting me he knew before the show he was hurt and not going to fight but if u can get him in the ring I'll be here waiting

His comments seem to be backed up by one of the dudes on his team this season:

www.mmafighting.com/...d-pull-out-of-fight/

Pretty funny if you ask me. Anything for ratings.

Yeah chuck was saying that he didn't think Tito would fight him at all earlier in the season. It seems tito got on the show as a coach to get publicity and promote himself even though he had no intentions of fighting chuck. I think Dana is doing the right thing by replacing him with rich, he's used everyone enough so get him out of there.

Yeah, it really seems this way.

Tito sucks ass anyway, I'd still rather have seen him taking a 3rd beating from Chuck as opposed to Chuck losing to Rich

That sounds like something Tito would do....but I suppose we should thank him for not subjecting us to another meaningless fight with Chuck. I'd much rather see Chuck/Franklin, as it is something fresh.

Either way, Tito looked like a chump last night...and not because he pulled out of the fight. He's shown in the past that he cares about working with younger fighters and tries to do a good job. That soccer kick landed squarely on the guys jaw and dropped him out cold for a second. You could run it back in slow motion and see how it landed from various angles. It's one thing to hype yourself with WWE-style BS, but to do it at the expense of a young fighter by claiming he is a liar trying to pick up a cheap win is pretty classless.

Tito owes him an apology.
