Dana Hates Koscheck Too? (Eyeing December Show in Pittsburgh or Toronto)

I've been keeping my ear to the ground regarding a Pittsburgh show, as it's right down the street from me now. I remember when I posted about moving here, a few people offered up some advice, and a few lurkers came out of the darkness to say that they lived in Pittsburgh and loved the city, so I figured more than a few people would be eager to see a show in Pittsburgh...It looks as though Toronto is the first choice, but if it doesn't get things in order by December, Pittsburgh is another option.

If Tony Montana is out there, can you shed some light on how things are going in Toronto? IIRC, you were involved in the process at some level but hit a road block a while back.

Anyway, as I was reading the article, Kos expressed some problem with Dana White. Does anyone know where the heat is coming from? Is this an AKA video game issue, an AKA won't fight each other issue, or something else? I had never heard of it before and I thought Kos was somewhat of a TUF favorite.

Dana and Kos are very open about them not seeing eye to eye.

As for Toronot, nothing has got to legislature yet, but the UFC feels very confident and has the Skydome tentatively booked for late this year or next summer. Ash says that they have done this before though too.

I would be very, very surprised if there was a show in Toronto in 2010.

Dana just hasn't greased enough palms around here yet.

I'm all for Toronto getting on board, but I've been waiting for another Midwest show since UFC 96...

As for Dana/Kos, I had read Dana say negative things, but I never knew where it stemmed from and thought I'd ask being as it was brought up in the article.

Unfortunately for you, Anderson Silva has it in his contract that he must headline any shows that you are going to.

You're not kidding.....but at least there is some assurance that he would not be headlining this one, as GSP vs. Kos would likely take the top spot.

I gotta say though I would be hard pressed to buy a ticket to another Midwest show with Silva as the headliner.
