Strikeforce challengers

Pretty good show actually. Strikeforce does their best to make solid cards but their events have been so underwhelming it's good to see the challengers series have a good show...

Fodor/diagne was a decent fight. Both constantly working and a few near finishes...

Kyle/Humphrey was am excellent fight. Reversals, strikes, takedowns, submission attempts, and a blistering pace. Has to be the best strikeforce fight this year so far...

Devela/voelker. Only bad fight of the night...

Kaufman/Modaferri was another really good fight. They were expending so much energy and Tenacity they made extended periods in the clinch exciting. Rd one went to modaferri rakes rd 1, Kaufman takes rd 2, and modaferri was ahead at the very end of rd3 but Kaufman pulls a rampage powerbomv and knocks modeferri out COLD! best finish to a womens fight ever IMO. Good stuff...

Del Rosario/mahe was a showcase fight for del Rosario and he he looked good...

I stayed up and watched this last night, and thought it was pretty good. Kyle looked sharp, and I actually thought the devela fight was decent. I do think the wrong guy won, but fight was pretty good.

oh, and the refs kinda blew hard. stand ups were WAY TOO FAST.

I'm still watching it now, but Sarah Kaufman delivered. She'd been saying all week that as the champion she shouldn't be on the Challengers card, and when interviewed on the card she said this would be her last fight on the Challengers series.

She just powerbombed her opponent for the TKO finish. The crowd is chanting "Sarah, Sarah," and Mauro just said she made a statement.

I'd say she came though.

I'm glad I got to see the Kaufman fight, she is a tough cookie. If her and Cris Cyborg remain undefeated for say over a year will people want to see them fight?
