did anyone else pay attention to this?? I enjoyed it and thought it was a nice step up from previous promos they run. Seem to be upping their game and I would love if they put a bit more work like this into their promos consistently

Yeah it had kind of a Pride like promo feel to it. I hope they keep going in this direction.

I have an office Christmas party that night. I think I might slip out for a while. Gotta see GSP kick some Fraggle ass in the main event.

I commented during one of the ppv discussion threads that I thought this was a great ad.

Its very well done and is almost like 2 gunslingers putting notches on their guns for each kill. This is just one more example that the UFC's production is head and shoulders above everyone else even the WWE these days.

Time and again the UFC creates promos, countdown shows, ads, commercials that get people over who may not be over and thats the mark of great marketing.

With each title defense they have to push a new challengers and some of these guys (like Kane) are so bland that they need smart marketing to get fans to care enough to buy the show.
