Tyson Griffin becoming another Karo?

I haven't seen his losing fight from UFC 123 yet, but Griffin was once supposed to be one of the young dogs who would one day rule the division.

Now he can't win the opening match on a show.

Just like Karo, so much promise and so little results.

Griffin probably is one fight away from being cut. The guy has talent but isn't getting the wins.

What to do?

Change camps, broaden skill set or its just not meant to be?

Griffin hasn't exactly gotten the easiest opponents

Theres Dunham who's basically undefeated and on the rise

Gomi who's a complete monster

And then last night's fight which was just completely bullcrap, seriously one of the worst decisions I've ever seen.

supposedly it was very controversial

dana said in the post conference that griffin was robbed, it seems according to many sites that ive read is that griffin indeed won. The judging screwed it up. Lentz supposedly looked pretty beat up afterwards too while Griffin was clean

based on what you guys say, then Griffin definitely gets another shot.

But even if he has had tough competition, Dana won't keep a guy around forever if he can't buy a win.

When Griffin and Lil Frankie started, I always thought it would be Griffin who would become the star.

i think he will be like joe stevenson, a good fighter who just never can get over that hump. he'll pull a few wins together followed by a loss and repeat cycle.

i cant see him ever going on a title run

I originally tought about guys like Joe Daddy and Florian who can beat almost everyone except the champ, but Griffin has fallen short of that.

He is more like Karo where he has all the tools, Rogan pimps him to the moon and he falls short.

Something just ain't clicking.
