KenFlo calls out Melvin

Looks like Melvin Guillard's talk of taking the lightweight strap has got Kenny's attention. Who do you like in that match-up, if it should happen?

I think the ever-improving Melvin's got a legit shot at beating Kenny.

From a Pro MMA Radio interview:

"It doesn't make sense. There's a lot of guys working hard. It's who the best fighter is. If Melvin thinks he deserves a shot over me, he should fight me and beat me. It's always about who the best fighter is. Who has he beaten? What has he done? That's great he's finally considered a top contender. Losing to Joe Stevenson in the first round isn't gonna get you that shot. You have to be consistent. He has to separate himself from the pack. I would take that fight."

Meh. Melvin is explosive and of course has a chance but it's a longshot as far as I'm concerned.

Why do guys only call out people they think are an easy win nowadays? Lame.

Props to Melvin and Hominick for calling out tough guys they think would make for good fights, but if you're calling Melvin out and it isn't your intention to stand with him, then it's a completely disingenuous gesture.

Doesn't Kenflo train out of Jackson MMA too?
