Anyone been to a UFC Fan Expo?

I was debating getting tickets to the Fan Expo in Toronto, but I don't really know what it is or if it is worth it.

Is it just a bunch of autograph signings etc? I don't really give two ****s about some dude writing his name on a piece of paper, so is there any sense of going?

What else do they have?

I've been to the SENI Expo a couple times which is what the UFC copied the UFC Expo from. (in fact UFC used to have a big booth there with fighters and Dana).

There will probably be some kind if grappling tournament like NAGA and a couple grappling superfights.

And then maybe exhibitors selling a bunch of crap like T shirts.

Fighter signing of course (wait in line).

For me I did the fighter training seminars so the time passed by quickly and I'd do the other stuff between the seminars. The UFC ones seem a little more expensive but I'd rather take a seminar with a UFC fighter than wait in line to get their autograph.

It always blows my mind that people would wait in line for a guy to write his name down for them.

cellphone pics with celebs definitely seems to be the new age autograph, and that at least makes some sense to me compared to "See, I met him, he even wrote his name for me so I knew it was him!"
