Let's say Silva tests positive for steroids again....

....would Fedor stay retired?

How would the loss go down for his legacy if the bout was reversed to a NC?

Stop being a nuthugger and speculating about something that doesn't even exist. Sheesh.

eh, either way, Fedor doesnt look like he wants to fight anymore at all.if you are talking about retiring right after you lose like that, then u pretty much know what you want to do even before the fight. usually people say they will take a break from training and go figure out what they want to do but he just came out right away and said its probably the last time he going to fight. Then again, Couture said the same thing after he got KO'd by liddell and he came back and ended up winning the HW belt. So you never know.

It wouldn't make any difference. We know Barnett juices, I can't believe Overeem doesn't, Carwin has been linked, Silva has already tested positive in the past, even Tim Sylvia juiced. I'm sure Mark Coleman's and Kevin Randleman's veins were more juice than blood when Fedor fought them. I think it's generally accepted that a large percentage of fighters juice, and Fedor has made his career fighting against the odds.

He has a loss on his record to K, which everyone knows was really a NC. If they changed this to NC, everyone would still see it as a loss.

The main thing is that Fedor doesn't seem to care about fighting any more. I don't think win or loss on the record books means that much to him.

I'm not really looking at this so much as a "blemish on his record" type deal or not - but moreso from the standpoint that he would be back into the main bracket of the tournament (I'm assuming there).

Maybe the second chance would be enough to coax him in?
