More Anti-MMA Nonsense In Canada

It's actually kind of pitiful that people would still try to get something banned because it doesn't fit their tastes. And yet there is still a voice against MMA in Canada.

There's a link to Jarvis' article in the link above but I'll post it here anyways

MMA is legal here now though, and nothing a ginger retard says is gonna change that. Definitely a bad article, though.

I guess my problem with that article doesn't have so much to do with someone hating MMA and being a dried-up soccer mom about it, but rather the notion that everyone's opinion is equal and that the people with the ****tiest opinions seem to be the most willing to share them with everyone.

I thought MMA was still banned in a few providences?

It might be, I'm not sure. It's legal in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia though, and I'm sure those are the only places the UFC would consider hosting an event. In the grand scheme of things, those are the provinces that matter most here, so that's what's important. Some parts of the country are just too empty for a sporting event of any kind, as funny as UFC: Yukon would be.

Here in Saskatchewan it's weird: PROFESSIONAL MMA isn't sanctioned, but amateur MMA is. With Alberta having MFC and the River Cree Resort Casino raking in the cash because of it, it doesn't make much sense to not have it sanctioned here. I'm sure Saskatoon or Regina could easily host some profitable MMA contests. Heck here in Prince Albert once a year we have an amateur boxing contest that has some amateur MMA fights in it, and it sells out every time.

Threadjack, I use to go fishing up in Reindeerlake every year, best fishing I have ever done. Miss going up there!
