Who is Brock Lesnar again?

Dana white was asked to pick the most underrated fighter in the UFC and he picked Lesnar.

I actually tend to agree with him. Lesnar takes a lot of crap for the way he cowered in his last two fights, but he beat some credible opponents on the way to the belt and took Cain down and just couldn't hold him there.

On the other hand, its hard to call the biggest marquee name in the sport overrated.

Is this just marketing, or does Dana mean it?

Maybe underrated. Brock is too scared to get hit though so I don't like his future. Id rather see Lesnar/taker than see lesnar get blasted by jds

He means it in that pre Carwin he was considered as a juggernaut. Post Cain everyone has written him off.

Brock is a one-dimensional fighter who is afriad to get hit in the face. He is what he is. How can he possibly be underrated? He can only be overrated.

I think Dana is being genuine here... No other fighter in history, not even the almighty Jon Jones can say they rose to prominence at such a blistering pace as Mr Lesnar. I dont even consider his first loss to Mir legit. I put it in the same tier as Shogun's loss to Babalu, or Anderson Silva losing to Luis Azeredo.

I also dont consider his loss to Cain anything to be ashamed of. No one really had the correct grasp of just how hard Cain hits until Sports Science so whos to say the way Brock stumbled all over the cage, wouldnt happen to anyone else the same way. Multiply his current Win/Loss record by 4 and i think youd find hes right on pace with many other greats in the sport : Quinton, Hendo, Chuck etc. And also remember those guys werent fighting top guys this early on either. I cant stand the guy (Brock), but no one has ever given him the respect he deserves. Not even when he was the guy no one could ever see beating him. He was just a monster that would lay on you, he deserves more than that.

PS - Officially, my pick as most underrated fighter is Fedor

Brock needs to let the boys he's coaching in the Ultimate Fighter repeatedly punch him in the face... You have to face your fears you know!
