Fedor And His Camp Give Weird Excuse

HISTORY2011-04-01 02:18:34 +0000 #1
To his loss to Antonio Silva.

Here's what Rashad said:

Quote:

I have someone close to the situation who was working with Bigfoot," said Evans. "They said that Fedor was all upset because his priest didn't come in. You know, he always has a priest for every one of his fights, and the priest didn't come in or came in late, and it really messed him up mentally.

"When he came out, he seemed to be showing more emotion than he normally does. Normally he has a straight face, but he looked like he was mad, not like the typical Fedor we see.

"That second round, when he broke, I would have never imagined. I would have never imaged that it would have happened to Fedor, but this is the fight business, anything can happen."

And then Fedor's trainer:

Quote:

Fedor Emelianenko’s coach Vladimir Voronov has presented an interesting theory for his fighter’s loss to Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva on Saturday night.

“We believe that forbidden psychological technology was used… It seems to us that not everything was right, and that certain technologies were used. Not ones that could be seen by the naked eye but psychological technologies that worked on both fighters at a distance,” he said to Russian website LifeSports.ru

“That is why during the fight Fedor was just not like himself. It seemed very strange behaviour from Fedor. He stepped into the ring and did everything exactly the opposite of what we practiced before the fight. We were all shocked! Fedor had never previously done such a thing.

“Now nearly a week passes, everything settles, and we understand why all this happened.”

Voronov suspects the use of a person or persons in the audience capable of “blocking energy” and “transferring energy from one person to another”.

That is a bit ridicolous.

What Rashad mentioned can obviously affect you mentally (in the self-fulfilling prophecy, self-destroying prophecy kind of way), still it's your own fault if you're superstitious enough to believe that crap. On the other hand Fedor seems to be prone to that, it worked for him mostly but if it's true against him this time.

What Fedor's trainer said is of course utter bullshit, it's just weird because directly after the fight in the interview Finkelstein gave for Sherdog he didn't really make any excuses, he just said he was shocked, thought that Fedor won the first round but completely accepted the doctor stoppage - so completely different take compared to that of the trainer.

I would however be interested in what they did practice before the fight.

It may have been Dana sticking pins in a Fedor voodoo doll. I also hope he get's 1 more shit kicking before he leaves just because of what him and M1 have caused and the comp he has faced the last 5 years.

Honestly what was his best win since 2006.....AA who is on an 0-4 roll......

Fedor should retire before these wackjobs ruin his image and take away all of his fans.

I honestly don't understand at all what the hell his trainer is talking about.

Can someone translate it in non-Star War's or non-bullshit language?
