What Is So Bad About Diaz That Makes People Hate Him?

I really don't get it. He's basically the Stone Cold of MMA. He fights frequently, ALWAYS brings it, refusing to embrace a winning gameplan even if it puts him in danger of losing (not taking down "superior strikers" immediately) because he'd rather stand and trade, despises fighters who utilize lay and pray tactics the same way many of his detractors do, and is one of the most exciting fighters in the sport.

The way I see it, his only faults are cursing and giving horrible interviews, and letting his emotions get the better of him at times. Other than that I don't see what the big deal is. People saying they wish he's be permanently maimed in the cage and calling him a "scumbag piece of trash" and "waste of a human being" and the like baffle me. I just don't get it.

I'm glad you said something. I would also add that declarations of hate towards someone you really don't know, and who has done nothing to harm you, probably speaks more to the inadequacies of the speaker.

Go watch his pre fight and post fight interviews then come and ask your question again.

Anyone who complains that his opponents arnt fighting fair when they leg kick him after he does a triathalon a week before a fight is a whiny piece of ****. Or complaining about being overworked when he has averaged 2 fights/year for sf. Or complaining about being underpaid when he makes solid money for an MMA fighter. I could go on and on about what a piece of **** Nick Diaz is.

I'll say it again, great fighter, waste of a human being.

If you defend Nick Diaz the human being, then you may be just like him...
