How long until we have a dominant LW champ?

The division seems a lot like the LHW division before Bones showed up. It appears to have a lot of depth, but I think its just lacking a real force. Most of the top guys right now (at least among UFC LWs) have glaring holes in their game.

Is there anyone on the horizon that shows the potential to become the king of the LWs?

I'm failing to see the "glaring holes" in Edgar's game.

I think he's one of the most well rounded fighters out there.

Pretty much this. I think if Edgar gets past Maynard again, he's got a pretty good chance of holding the belt for a while.

Until Jose Aldo moves up to 155.

Not really a valid statement until Bones has defended the title a few times, everyone thought Machida was gonna be the **** and go unbeaten, then Shogun was gonna be unbeatable.

I am hoping Rampage comes in and beats him purple....

Frankie has low finishing ability via submission/striking. Maynard exploited this in the first round of their second fight by being aggressive without fear of being hurt but didn't have the cardio to seal the deal. He also showed in their first fight that Edgar can be smothered by a strong wrestler that isn't interested in making the fight fun for casual fans.

You might have a point with Bones, but even Lyoto wasn't destroying most of his opponents (just very clearly winning rounds).
