I've got to agree with you on this one, but business in general tends to be a bit schizophrenic.

Overeem yes, Diaz no. If you don't show up for work you get fired. Period.

If Diaz would have called Dana and said man I'm freaking the fack out and I can't be in front of all those people asking me questions, I think this would have went differently. He instead chose to turn his phone off and dip out like a crack head. I love Nick as a fighter and hate it that this fight was changed but I can't blame Dana for what happened. He had to make a decision and when his fighter is MIA he must have had all kinds of stuff going on in his mind.

He had to do what he did.

Agreed, however there are many other instances of Zuffa (well Dana really) waffling on stuff he says. Again, this is kind of to be expected in a business, especially an entertainment business.
