I guess a lot of fighters are gonna lose a sponsor. They sponsor guys in every organization and many fighers at that.

US lawyer: Poker firm Full Tilt was a Ponzi scheme

Filing a beefed-up lawsuit against Full Tilt, Bharara said the Ponzi scheme had only been discovered after federal offices began action against the company in April

I, for one, am SHOCKED that an illegal online gambling site might not be 100% legit...

now, as to whether online gambling is something that _should_ be illegal that's a whole different story. it is only illegal because the physical casino lobby has bought a sufficient number of politicians to keep it that way.

Wow.

I think it's weird that a company which doesn't (I assume at least) have a US presence would still sponsor fighters. There must be some kind of benefit to them to do that.

Most gambling firms claim ownership and operation overseas despite the fact that is rarely true, due to the illegality of gambling in many parts of North America. Full Tilt, by most accounts, was run right from Vegas.
