TUF: Philippines in 2012?

ABS-CBN apparently is in talks with Zuffa about it. It is one of the two biggest networks here so Zuffa is aiming for top exposure. UFC programming fits perfectly with the kind of programming the station airs on some of their sister networks. They also cover UFC news too, giving lots of air time for Brandon Vera to air his excuses as to why he lost.

If I recall correctly, Dana has plans to introduce a 125 lb division, and that's really a good weight class to focus this edition of TUF.

Would be interesting, we get that channel and TFC here for my in-laws (wife is a flip). So I wonder if I would be able to watch it on two stations, Fox and ABS

Hah. 125 would be a perfect weight class in the land of the midgets.

It is likely a Philippines-only TUF. It will not be airing on Fox or any other US channel.

They have been planning on doing a few TUF series in different countries, that will air only in that country (or surrounding areas).

If I were to wager a guess, if Ultimate Fighter ever makes it here, they are going to be aired on Studio 23, which is ABS-CBN's channel for the hip youth-centric crowd. I don't know that UFC's Fox deal allows them to air the show in the US at all. Chances are, they'll need subtitles for the language difference in every episode.
