I love me a fight collection box set. From the UFC 100 greatest fights to the Pride Legacy sets, I love em all.

I'll probably pick this up with some reward zone points

Not really digging this to be honest... First, 2011 isnt over. And the fact that its already been put together means that the cut off was probably october or maybe even september. Second, its 89.99 at Best Buy... Ive bought all 4 of the "Best of 200_" since they started in 2007. Those are plenty fine with me, and they retail at 14.99. Those have come out in March of the following year theyre highlighting on the DVD, which guarantees youre getting all 12 months worth of fighting. Example... Best of 2008 had the 3 big matches at Ultimate 2008 which was NYE (Wand vs Rampage, Nog vs Mir, Forrest vs Rashad). I hope they arent planning on canceling this because of this new thing... Definately a cool thing to own, dont get me wrong. But not 90$ cool (IMO)

I loved all of the best of blu-rays, but this is 170 fights. That's a ****load of MMA. a full card counting facebook prelims is about 11 fights. That means this is about 15 full fight cards worth of action. that's not too bad.

$90 is a pretty good price for a fight fan that is not able or willing to buy every PPV. As I already do buy all the PPV's, there wont be anything on this set that I have not already seen. On top of that, the UFC Wired and UFC Unleashed shows run often enough that I can usually rewatch interesting fights if I am willing to set my PVR. It is a large number of fights.

On top of that, I also record the Bellator events and whatever C level MMA that HDNet is giving airtime to in any given week. I have no shortage of new MMA programming to watch.

END COMMUNICATION

True... I suppose its not the content that im complaining of. Rather the price of the content. And everybody has a different price. You know whats coming next right...??? Id advise anyone thats interested here, to invest this same 90$ into amazon and get the individual/best PRIDE events on DVD that you can. Theres my PRIDE shtick for the day.

Something ive always wished for... Kind of like a burned cd mix of MMA fights. Have a complete list of the fight library you own on UFC.com, and allow the customer to hand pick about 20 fights per DVD of their choice and put them on a disc to be mailed. You cant put a price on what id pay to do that out of the UFC library.
