FOX makes it's 1st mistake

Guida's camp is saying it was FOX's decision not to include what should be a sick fight between Clay and Bendo because they didn't think it was a worthy fight to show.

To me this is a pretty big misread as Clay vs. Bendo leading into Junior vs. Clay is a low risk/high reward situation. I might be reaching but to me it seems like the network might of made this decision based on how Clay looks rather than how he fights.

Is this a red flag or just first event jitters?

it is a crap decision, if there is time to show the fight, show the fight!

I have a feeling the fight gets shown. I can't imagine either fight going the distance.

i have the opposite reaction, he looks like a crazy monster thats going to

put on a crazy monster fight, then he starts his dog-humping-leg routine and i change the channel to watch Man vs Food tackle a 14 lb pizza instead

Dude it has the potential to be a snoozer. It will be competitive for sure but it's not exactly the first impression FOX or UFC wants to make to new fans. Too risky. Good call on airing on national TV.

Ya, think if they aired it and the fight looked like guida vs pettis... (although i doubt that will happen since bendo is a better wrestler than guida imo)

Its a smart move not to air potential snooze fests when there is likely to be many people watching that have never watched the sport before.
