Looking into it a bit more, I don't know if there is an actual source for this story.

Sounds fishy to me.

There's no way in ****ing hell they bring Fedor in. At least not at what Fedor's management wants for him. On top of that, there's no way Fedor fights for what the UFC is willing to pay him.

Also, here's the problem with those articles.

By using a "source close to someone inside the Fedor camp" - you take 0 credibility if you're wrong, but still get to put a story out there if you're right. It allows someone to write an article on a hunch or a theory and just cite a "ghost source".

Unfortunately, I have a feeling with the SBNation buyout - that we're going to get a lot of crap like this.

Hasn't Fedor lost alot of his magic anyway? He will definitely be a draw but can he even compete in the UFC heavyweight division?

According to the article, they're not looking for co-promotion anymore. It's a negotiation for Fedor, not Fedor/M1.

I don't think there is a source though. Not sure how mmamania works, but it could just be a random person posting like bleacher report.
