That was fast.

Just hours after Dave Herman was no longer labeled as "Pee Weed," it was announced that he'd been booked to throw hands opposite Stefan Struve at the upcoming UFC on Fuel TV 1 event, which is scheduled to take place at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Neb., on Feb. 15, 2012.

MMA Weekly brought word of the heavyweight tilt on Nov. 30.

Herman (20-2) made his Octagon debut at UFC 131: "Dos Santos vs. Carwin" back on June 11, pounding out fellow ZUFFA debutante Jon Olav Einemo at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

"Pee Wee" was supposed to make his second appearance at UFC 136 opposite Mike Russow; however, some shenanigans surrounding his pre-fight drug test kept him on the sidelines until recently rectified.

Now he's back (again) and ready to take out his frustrations on the "Skyscraper."

Star-divide

Struve (22-5) bounced back from a knockout loss to Travis Browne back at UFC 130 earlier this year to strangle Pat Barry en route to a second round submission win at UFC on Versus 6 on Oct. 1.

The win over "HD" pushed the lanky Dutchman to 6-3 inside the Octagon and a win over a veteran like Herman would go a long way in getting him back "in the mix."

UFC on Fuel TV will be headlined by a welterweight war featuring top division contenders Diego Sanchez and Jake Ellenberger facing off for a spot in the crowded 170-pound title chase.

Stay tuned to MMAmania.com for additional UFC on Fuel TV 1: "Ellenberger vs. Sanchez" fight card updates, news and notes, as they become available.

I have to say this whole UFC On Fox, UFC On Fuel and UFC On FX sounds just dumb already

Can they just come up with one name to use on all the events?

So, how is PeeWee already available?

Didn't he JUST get suspended like a month ago?

It was BS either way, just wondering how he is fighting so soon.

Something like UFC on Fox, UFC Explosion (The Fuel Show) and UFC Primal (The FX show)?

I don't mind the different names because they all start with UFC. I therefore avoid confusion...

I like herman and I bet he wins this fight. I root for him hard now ever since he totally disrespected BJJ by calling it a "bunch of tricks". I tend to agree and therefore will root for Herman to win against a really tall talented submission artist.
