Who do you think they'll give him if he is granted his wish? 170 has nothing for him and he has been pushing for 185. Belcher ?? Wandy? Cung? Ed Herman? Chris Weidman???

My money is on Belcher. Cung's off a loss, Weidman, and Herman especially, get handled. Kos vs. Wandy would be a great fight if Kos kept it standing, but I think Belcher is the best matchup.

Wandy vs. Kos would be great, but I think that might not be enough time for Wandy.

I don't see why the UFC would grant this "just one fight at 185" wish. In the court of public opinion, all this would do is either crush some MW they could've used elsewhere or he'll lose, but not really lose anything because he was in the wrong class for one fight and now he's going back to 170, anyway.

Basically, unless it's Bonnar or Leben, no one has anything to gain from beating him. Only to lose. And the opposite is true for him.

I just see no sense that this makes.

I would love to see him fight Leben. But Leben is off at the Betty Ford clinic.
