Official Lyoto Machida WARWAGON! GTFI

Sup Bros,

So here's the deal: Many moons ago, I laid out a prophecy. In the "Jon Jones: What he is and how to fight him" thread, it was foretold that Lyoto Machida would defeat Jon Jones.

We find ourselves in dark and uncertain times. Since the fall of Chxck Liddell, no man has been able to defend the LHW belt, twice. Since then, there's been something terribly wrong with the division, hasn't there?

I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now Light-Heavyweight Champion, Jon Jones. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. This Saturday we will end that silence.

For too long we have put up with his arrogance masquerading as humility. For too long we have put up with his corniness masquerading as wit. For too long we have put up with his good fortune masquerading as supreme skill. The division needs a hero to save it from this tyranny. Enter the Dragon.

Lyoto has the tools. He has the skillset. He has the courage. Lyoto will dance in and out, use his wrestling to surprise Jon Jones, his grappling to control Jon Jones, and his striking to hurt Jon Jones.

The Machida era began with Lyoto stopping an undefeated Greg Jackson fighter. It is poetic justice that for the Machida era to return, he will have to stop an even bigger, fiercer, more menacing Greg Jackson fighter.

So I leave you with this motivational mini-documentary about Lyoto Machida, one of the greatest ever put on youtube. It captures the rise of his career, to the Machida era. Dedicated to Lady Justice, in light of the imposter that currently resides in her place:

"Lyoto Machida- The Last Samurai"

For fellow Machida supporters:

Use this thread to post your WAR LYOTO!!!!'s, and to post your own Pro-Machida propaganda throughout the week, as I will continue to do.

For Jon Jones supporters:

Go F*CK yourselves if you think Jones is gunna win.

Machida is my favorite fighter, but I think Jones wins this fight. Machida is the best opponent stylewise but is still the underdog by a long way.

Will be glad if Machida wins.

I'd LOVE to see Machida win, and honestly wouldn't be shocked if he did. However, if I had to bet the house in this fight, it would be on Jones. Hope I'm wrong.

WAR MACHIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty much this. I want Machida to win soooooooooo badly, and I think he CAN do it. I'm just not sure that the fight is going to go his way.

Reports that Machida's training camp is going well:

“I’m very glad he’s in such good shape… Machida family is doing a great job”, compliments Dorea, commenting on his impressions about the former champion, who now trains in a smaller octagon than the one UFC uses, since he wants to focus on his speed. “He’s doing amazing, he’s fast and strong. Doing what he did on the light heavyweight division it’s not usual… Lyoto has the weapons to defeat Jon Jones”.

Machida is known for his Karate skills, once his family started practicing the art the father, Yoshizo, taught them, but Dorea guarantees that the karate fighter’s qualities at Nobre Arte equals some of the best names of the rings and cages.

“I have great Boxing experience and it’s hard to see a heavy weight fighter who moves and does what he does… There’re few: Anderson, Dos Santos, Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali), Roy Jones Jr”, points out the coach, who for years trained the former world champion Acelino “Popo” Freitas, believing on a Brazilian triumph at UFC 140, in Canada. “I trust Lyoto, I believe we’ll bring the fourth title to Brazil”.
