How to carry things while running

I am trying to figure out how to fit in running, swimming, and weight training. (Biking gets done in very small amounts as transportation, and long rides on weekends.) I thought I might bike to work, run the 1 mile to the pool, swim, and run back to work and change. I asked if I could rent a locker at the pool but they don't let you leave things in them overnight. They had a problem with roaches once.

Any suggestions of what to use to carry stuff while running? Running is SO bouncy!

How much do you need to carry? The Nathan vests are just amazing ways to carry water and a few small things (phone, gel flask, ID, Epi-Pen, TP, spare Blister Block, hat and gloves) ... I expect they'd do just as well with no water and a few larger things.

I need to carry my towel, water bottle, goggles, swim cap, shampoo/conditioner, flip flops, and either underwear or swimsuit (depends on which one I'm wearing). Not a huge load but it won't fit in pockets.

Get one of those compact microfiber towels, and use the bladder that comes with the vest instead of a water bottle. It might be a bit tight in the Intensity vest, but only a bit; there would be plenty of room in the Synergy.

Oak, did you run your marathon in the Nathan vest/pack or did you use aid stations?

After all your positive reviews I'm thinking of getting one. I use a Camelbak and don't really notice it anymore, but that means noticing it EVEN LESS would be super awesome. I only need to carry a gel flask (and/or packets) and my phone, sometimes car alarm/keys.
