I am getting back into walking/jogging after a hiatus of a few years and am encountering an annoying problem. I live in the country among some pastures with horses and cattle, and when the temp and humidity is right, flies keep buzzing around my face and ears, and sometimes landing on me (my lips, my nose, flying into my ear, aaugh!). I've used Off before going out and it doesn't seem to help. I wish I could ignore them, but I end up continually flapping my hands up around my face to shoo them away, and that takes away from my training. Does anyone else out there encounter this sort of thing? Short of a fly mask like horses wear (haha), is there a solution?
Also...I'm not sure if anyone has posted about this before. I did a search and didn't see anything, so if it's been discussed, I'd love to read about it. Thanks!
