"The Ultimate Fighter 10" winner Roy Nelson (15-4 MMA, 2-0 UFC) is working his way into the mix.

The round-bellied heavyweight on Saturday posted a message on his official Twitter account that he expects to face burgeoning takedown artist Cheick Kongo (15-6 MMA, 8-4 UFC) in his next octagon appearance. Though not yet confirmed by the UFC, a Fighters Only report this past week has pegged the match-up to take place at UFC 116.

UFC 116 takes place July 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. A heavyweight title unification match between current champion Brock Lesnar and interim champion Shane Carwin is expected to headline.

Nelson, 33, further proved himself a threat in the heavyweight division in his most recent outing against the 6-foot-11 Stefan Struve. Though many expected Struve's reach to cramp Nelson's style, it took just 39 seconds for the former IFL champion to find his opponent's chin with an overhand right and take home his second consecutive octagon win.

Previously, Nelson completed a decisive, yet controversial, sweep of the "TUF 10" heavyweights with a first-round knockout of Brendan Schaub in the show's finale.

Not easily at all, Kongo is obviously a beast standing up. But yeah, Nelson should win this fight.
