After licensing issues prevented him from competing on this weekend's UFC 113 card, Canadian fighter David Loiseau (19-9 MMA, 4-4 UFC) gets another slot on a card in his home country.

Sources close to the event confirmed with ( ) that Loiseau is expected to fight Mario Miranda (9-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at UFC 115 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Geoff Rohoman with News1130 Radio in Vancouver first reported the bout.

The event takes place June 12 at GM Place, and the night's main card airs on pay-per-view.

The UFC has not officially announced the Loiseau vs. Miranda bout, which will be part of the night's un-aired preliminary card.

This past week, as first reported, Loiseau had been tapped a late replacement for injured Nick Catone and was expected to fight John Salter at UFC 113 in Montreal. However, his licensing was held up when the local commission had concerns over his sale of a regional MMA promotion and potential ties to organized crime. No ties were found, and Loiseau maintained his innocence, but the unfortunate ordeal forced UFC officials to sign fellow UFC castoff Jason MacDonald instead because of time constraints.

The fan favorite enters his fourth UFC stint with four wins in his past five fights.

In his most recent UFC stint, Loiseau dropped an uninspired unanimous decision to Ed Herman at UFC 97 in 2009. However, the French-Canadian and one-time top middleweight contender returned to action in February with a TKO win over Chester Post at a Mixed Fight League event.

Miranda, meanwhile, signed with the UFC earlier this year after posting an impressive 9-0 professional record in a variety of Northeast-based promotions. The wins came against future UFC fighters such as Ricky Story and Joe Vedepo However, in his octagon debut, Miranda, who nearly earned a spot on "The Ultimate Fighter 11" but instead got a UFC contract, suffered a first-round TKO loss to Gerald Harris at UFC Fight Night 21.

Okay I admit it...

I posted Miranda by KO just to piss him off. I've never seen the dude fight but he has a winning record. That alone stacks the odds against the crow .
