My ideas to the Next TUF Coaches

JKhrome12010-06-20 04:23:49 +0000 #1
I was wondering who the UFC is going to pick for the Next TUF show coaches, i know the show starts taping in Jan or Feb because the show airs on Spike TV in April. So i made a list of fighters that would be able to coach on this season, and i really hope its not GSP-Hardy !!

- now you have to remember that these fighters/coaches will bring a team of coaches to help them with the new fighters, so it's not like they have to know everything.

HW ~ Velasquez, Carwin, Gonzaga (only if he beats Dos Santos though), the winner between Mir/Kongo, i could see being coaches

i wanted to put up, if Cro Cop beats Rothwell at 110 he could be a coach but that wouldnt make the time line when shooting the show begins. I also wanted to put Rolles Gracie would be a huge coach on the show as well but his (im sure he'll beat Al-Turk) but again the timeline is off for them.

LHW ~ Rogerio Nogueira, Jardine, Coleman (im so so on this idea), Franklin (could be a good way to work his way back after the loss to Vitor), Couture (its a good idea and a bad idea, him coaching will put him on the shelf for awhile again), Vera (could be away to get him back after the Couture loss), the winner or loser of Ortiz/Griffin and Liddell (he's had his time off this could be a good next move for him) - could all make it as a coach.

Nogueira only if he beats Cane though, but IMO i think him being on the show either way (win or lose) would be a great way to promote him away from his brother big shadows.

But everyone else wold be a nice pick.

MW ~ there's no one really !!

Marquardt/Sonnen is happening at 109, Silva/Akiyama is happeing at 110, Maia/Miller all these fights are happening next year when the season will be shooting.

WW ~ Alves, Fitch only if he beats Pierce, Parisyan only if he beats Hazelett, Koscheck only if he beats Johnson

i wanted to put the winner between Trigg/Serra (but im sure that fight will be to late as well)

LW ~ Edgar and Stevenson. Sherk only if he beats Oliveira, the winner between Tyson Griffin/Jim Miller, the winner between Florian/Guida or even the winner or loser between Penn/Sanchez.

I think Fitch-Alves wouldn't be a bad idea at least that is a reasonable fight.

Florian and Edgar would be pretty good.

Or Maynard, but he is about as interesting as he is fun to watch.

Gsp and Silva as the coaches would be an huge lead up to probably the biggest fight in history. Even though silva can't speak English. Would give GSP time to bulk up though.
