According to Dana White Mirko is done.

This is a sad sad day in the MMA world.... Pry the most exciting HW ever is gonna hang them up. But its pry a good thing because i dont think I can take seeing him get KO'd by shitty competition.

One by one the greats are hanging them up.... Hughes is more than likely next.

WAR CRO COP!

Yeah man, it's a sad day for sure.

It seems like all of the old timers are getting replaced by the "new blood" in MMA.

It's like a 3 to 5 year cycle every time it happens, or at least it seems that way.

The days of the 1 dimensional fighters are over, and it's to the point where he's getting beat at his own game anyhow.

He was far from one dimensional IMO... His wrestling and take down defense were close to Chuck Liddell level... And he was only submitted once and that was in his 10th fight to Nog.

Prime Cro Cop is one of the greatest HWs of all time. But hes noticeably lost a step and his drive to fight.

He did have a library of HL reel knock outs, and showed a standup fighter could beat wrestlers. I remember his fight against Coleman, Marc looked so helpless when Mirko stuffed his TD's I almost felt sorry for him. but I think his most impressives feats were his domination of Josh barnett.

Mirko's downfall was his lack of desire, not being "one dimensional."
