It's a sad day that I post this. But this site has grown so large and there's no real sense of how much bigger it might get. Membership wise we have a ratio of aprox. 50 guys for every girl.

However, it has come to my attention on a number of occasions that there have been members of this site that have sexually harassed and/or behaved in an inappropriate manner. It's also been said that there are some 30 year olds here preying on some very young girls and their insecurities.

On a case by case basis we have removed some members that have, during group events gone across lines, often times having the police involved. There isn't a lot I can do to stop this, but you can:

I want to request that if you feel you have been preyed upon to contact me directly. It will be private, and there are some individuals on this site that now have police cases thanks to some brave women. Any contributions to these cases would from others would also be quite helpful in their plight. If you feel uncomfortable with that - please contact the police directly.

Unfortunately, some elements of popular culture have degraded women, by use of the terms "ho", "bitches", etc.

By so doing, this "dehumanizes" women, and makes some people consider us as lesser beings. Only by changing attitudes can we expect to be treated with respect. I have taken exception to the use of the term "bitches" to describe women in some threads, as I believe this is a derogatory term, and only contributes to the problem. If only we would all respect one another there would be no need for this kind of thread.

Being one of "original" members of this site, I am aghast.

Despite my horribly cynical nature, I find it difficult to comprehend that this place that I enjoy coming to so often, has now become a place where a few fuck-wads have tarnished it for the rest.

I offer my admiration to the women who had the courage to speak out.

"Bad" people come in all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, occupations, interests, etc, etc, etc, etc

I always try to remember the quote, "when people show you who they really are; believe them."

It is sad that this had to be posted, but it is a reality in our society so I am glad that it was put out there for people to be aware of and perhaps people will think twice about how they conduct themselves. I have always felt that the internet is a strange "place" as you just never know who or what is really out there. Add in the fact that people start to socialize and their guards are down because of the common interest and so-called familiarity that people get with each other in an online community and surely there is room for something bad to happen.

Thanks for the heads and posting the suggestion Adam. It's important for people to "see" it and be aware. Hopefully whatever has gone on, will not happen again because you educated people about it.
