Body purification

Hi all I am new to this forum and this is my first post. Anyways I am looking for body purification methods. Like a 30 day cleanse to strengthen the astral body. A step by step guide with easy recipies and a daily planner would be excellent. If that's not available just a quick daily guide of do's and dont's that I could personalize would great too. Anyways thanks for any and all advice. I hope to hear from you soon.

My day starts with 1.5 cups of oatmeal and three peices of fruit in the morning. For luch I usually have some fruit (usually about two peices) with a bag of microsteam vegtables maybe a bowl of oatmeal or bowl of shreded wheat. For dinner I usually have some fruit and vegtables with eaither a grilled chicken breast or peice of salmon. I vary it around a little bit instead of the oatmeal I might throw in a peanut butter wheat bagle or peanut butter rice cakes. So as you can see I eat really healthy I just need some guidelines to follow.

Meow blackcat and welcome,

I am on a 7-day cleanse myself right now: Arise and Shine.

I wanted to offer a couple of things to you, please take or leave depending on what rings true for you. If you are wanting to cleanse your physical body to strengthen the energetic body, then you need to stay clear of mucous causing (kapha & tamas increasing) foods such as oatmeal, chicken, peanut butter, wheat. Ahhh, almost your whole list...which is you may return to after the cleanse, though you may not want to! I do think that you should stop eating all meat during this type of cleanse. And if you do consume any dairy or egg (also mucous causing: kapha and tamas increasing) during the cleanse, it should be organic and treated as kindly as you can find.

Other grains like millet, amaranth can be used 2-3 times a week to give the protein, vitamins B, C, E and some of the iron you will need. Your vegetables, prepared properly, will give you the rest.

Remember that we also "digest" through our hearts, eyes and ears. Again, if you are cleansing to strengthen the energetic; removing less-than-nurturing music, friendships, movies, etc. from your mind and heart's diet will aid in what is draining your energy. Replace, or increase, those less-beneficial things with uplifting music, movies, companionship. Read works by illuminated souls too as away to nourish yourself; all of these will fortify your astral body and will increase your prana.

There are a couple of threads here on the forum that speak to food, some about cleasing, but not too in depth. Search diet to check those out. I also wanted to share this link with you for recipes and information about an Ayurvedic sattvic diet. I love this site:

Fran's House of Ayurveda:

I think you are the right track to prepare for such a lengthy cleanse. You will get the most of out of it by finding out how to nourish yourself before.

Warm wishes,

Thanks Nichole very helpfull. Infact I just had some beans for lunch along with a banana instead of the oatmeal that I had planned for today. I've never had any lentils but after reading that website you recomended I'm anxious to try some. I am on my way to the health food store right now to pick up some millet and that other grain that you recomended amaranth, watch me try to say that to the nice lady behind the counter. Also is there any guideline to how much I should eat? Should I be concerned about calories? I was shooting for around 1800 calories before. And thank you so much for you advice I will use it.
