There is a thread i read and it talks about what is happening in the world and how nature was destroyed. But guys dont you think that we cant do anything about it. This is life and it is destined to happen this way--but of course to make the destruction" slower of course we have to do our part. no to totally reverse from the new technology or the industrial society but find something good about it..hmmmm well. What we need to consider is how we will be able to uplift our spririts and remove all of the impurities within us..

I feel it is difficult to be in human form and also have the conscious thought and to know the effects that living, essentially, has on our mind/body/spirit.

From the moment we are born, we begin to die. Sad, but true. The important thing to focus on is once we are "aware" we have more opportunities to make responsible choices toward our bodies, others and the environment.

I try never to drink chlorinated/flourinated water because of the effects I now know the chemicals do to my body. Eating healthier foods in an attempt to keep extraneous garbage out of the body. There are many things that we can do to fight the negative aspects of industrialized societies. But, as always, in my mind it comes down to exploring Self ... learning to love our self, teaches positive ways to display love to other people, animals, all life!

Of course the physcial impurities are only part. We, as humans, have mental and spiritual impurities. I am confident that Yoga can aid those ailments as well. For instance, as one continues with their yoga practice / discipline, they are eating for the right reasons and the right foods, they begin to have a respect for all life and all creation -- the individuals outlook will, most likely be changed! It is possible to choose the thoughts or thought processes that we have. When we see something is not correct, we can meditate on it -- and the answers will appear within.

We live in this plane of existence -- but we do not have to let it destroy us. The choices we make daily determine as much, if not more, than the negative effects/overflow of any society. I choose not to put impure thoughts in my mind. I choose to love rather than to hate. I choose to acknowledge inner peace lies not in the outside worl -- but within.
